A Life Story that needs preservation

So many had the experience yet so few talked about them or wrote them down for future generations. The retention of Les Newall letters to his mother inadvertantly preserved  a record of this life. Les's youngest son David was keen to ensure the preservation went beyond a draw of museum archives.  David did not follow his father into the R.A.F. but following a Bristol University Zoology Degree entered a Business Development career in the Pharmaceutical Industry. The letters did not come to light until after Les's death in 2000 and it was not until David's retirement in 2018 and the subsequent enforced time that the Covid outbreak afforded that work was begun on typing the letters out.  Cognisant of  the rich story of experiences they contained David began presentations to local interest groups and can still be booked for talks on djnewall@outlook.com.
